It's the HOLIDAY SEASON....can't believe it! Definitely my favorite time of the year to pull out all the stops and share some gift inso to you all. The theme of this blog is home finds and I'm super excited to share! We recently moved into our new house and I've had the best time decorating and selecting pieces that give us the modern coastal flair we are after. We live on the water in North Carolina and when we moved in, we knew we wanted to keep a clean, bright and airy feel, but with coastal elements. Serena and Lily is by far one of my favorite places to bring my decorating style to life! Since most of us are in holiday shopping mode, I thought it would be super fun to share some of "my favorite things" that I've picked up from Serena and Lily that give my house the charm I'm after. I think any of these would make amazing gifts if you're buying for a home owner with a modern, casual and coastal esthetic to their decorating style.
Favorite Thing #1 - Wave Bath Towels
The Wave Bath Collection is by far one of my favorite things I've got from S&L. I just love the scalloped edge detail on these towels- they add so much charm and detail to our guest bathroom. Favorite Thing #2 - Rattan Pitcher & Cup Set
If you are a hostess with this mostess, this super cute rattan pitcher and cup set is a must have. I purchased this back in the summertime, but is so cute to spice of your holiday drinks with a touch of coastal flair. I leave this on my bar cart in the kitchen and it makes for the cutest addition. Favorite Thing #3 - Throw Pillows
One of our first purchases for our new home was this large area rug that has hues of blues, tans and grays, so I knew I wanted to coordinate my couch and pillows around these colors to bring in that coastal charm I love! I picked up my throw pillows from S&L and I just love the quality and detail. I have a mix of 22X22 and 24X24 to give my couch that grand and cozy feel. I love that Serena and Lily has real down inserts that make them super comfortable to lounge with. It's also nice if you want to swap out your covers for different seasons and decor as well. Favorite Thing #4 - Hand Towels
Another favorite of mine is S&L hand towels. The quality is unreal, but I am obsessed with all the cute and coastal designs they have! One of my favorites are these white towels, with a navy pineapple accent. I dropped it over my bar cart to add a touch of the coastal elements in my home paired with some holiday details.. Favorite Thing #5 - Wicker Napkin Holder
Last, but least is actually of my favorite Serena and Lily items for hosting. It's this super cute seagrass napkin holder with adorable napkins. I love that S&L has many options for different napkin pattern designs to chose from as well. Every time we have guests over, I lay this out on the island next to any treats or goodies.
