If you're like me, you've seen the brand Chicwish spamming your socials for a while now, but have you actually committed and placed an order? Two years ago I finally caved and placed my first order to see how it panned out and boy oh boy have I been hooked since! Chicwish is definitely one of my favorite brands for unique and high quality pieces. It's a favorite I share on my social pages frequently, so if you're still hesitant to place an order, I figured I'd do a 2022 haul review of a bunch of new pieces I just received! If you're interested in shopping any of these looks while you read, I've linked them all- just click each picture to shop.
Look #1: PEARLY CONTRAST HEART SOFT FUZZY KNIT CARDIGAN IN PINK
I am absolutely obsessed with the cardigan, especially with Valentine's Day right around the corner. I paired it with some distressed denim and handbag for a cute winter look. This would also make a great spring transition piece as well with some denim shorts and sneakers.
Positives: High quality stitching and detail. The pearl details and buttons really make this a statement piece. Great transition piece for switch of seasons.
Negatives: Wish I would have sized up. I ordered a S/M, which is my typical size, but would have liked it a bit larger.
Look #2: WATERCOLOR PRINTED RUFFLE WRAPPED MINI DRESS
How darling is this dress for the upcoming spring season. I think it wears nicely and pairs well with a pair of espadrilles or even some wedges. This would be adorable as well with a straw sun hat and some pastel accessories.
Positives: Looks identical to picture on website. Comes with an additional sash for more wearable options and styling. Sleeve length is perfect.
Negatives: A little low cut in the front if you are larger chested like me. You might need to add an undershirt for more coverage.
Look #3: FALLING HEART SELF-TIE BOWKNOT SATIN SHIRT IN RED & ZIP-UP FAUX LEATHER FLARE MINI SKIRT IN BLACK
O M G...my favorite look so far. I am definitely wearing this out on Valentine's Date night. This top and skirt pair so well together with some knee high boots are beret. I like how they can be worn separately as well.
Positives: The details on this shirt are super high quality and the fit is perfect. I'm loving that this skirt has shorts attached underneath for some extra coverage.
Negatives: Not many negatives on this fit. My only comment is that the sleeve may be a bit difficult to button on your own and you may need some help.
Look #4: RAINBOW OMBRE BUTTON DOWN CABLE KNIT CARDIGAN
If you're like me you love anything rainbow, so when I saw this it was definitely an "add to cart moment." This pairs so nicely with some denim and sneakers for a cute spring look.
Positives: Very reasonably priced ($55.90) for the quality. The colors are identical to the pictures.
Negatives: A little small and shorter than I had hoped for. I am wearing a S/M and would definitely have sized up for a more oversized fit.
Look #5: STITCH FLOWERS HAND-KNIT CHUNKY CARDIGAN IN CREAM & HIGH WAIST FLARE HEM DENIM MINI SKIRT
Three words: cute, cute, cute! Literally crushing over the retro vibe of this sweater with the stitched flowers along with how well it pairs with this denim flare skirt. I think this goes nicely with some knee high boots for a cute winter to spring fit!
Positives: The sweater is amazing quality and very well stitched. It is heavily knitted and is very warm. The fit of the skirt runs true to size as mentioned on the website and looks just like the picture.
Negatives: The sweater definitely runs small. I am wearing a L/XL here and glad I went with this size as anything else would have been too small.
Look #6: BEAD TRIM BOWKNOT VELVET TOP IN CREAM & GOLDEN FRINGE BUTTONED TWEED MINI BUD SKIRT IN RED
This fit is giving me major Blair Waldorf vibes and I'm not mad about it at all! This velvet top and tweed skirt pair nicely together for an elegant look. I think both would be super cute styled a part as well.
Positives: The velvet top feels super luxurious and has great beaded details for the price ($49.90). This skirt also has shorts built in and is a major win for me!
Negatives: The bow on the skirt hangs a little weird if not tied correctly, but overall not a major issues. Unfortunately, the skirt runs super small and I had a hard time squeezing into it, so definitely size up!
Look #7: WIDE LAPEL SNUG FAUX FUR COAT IN GREY
There is two things I love in winter and that is warm and cute....this jacket definitely hits the mark on both! It's faux fire (which I love) and has a dreamy silk lining. I love how you can totally dress this up or down. I love how it pairs with faux leather pants as I've styled it here.
Positives: Runs true to size. I love the feeling of the fabrics used for this. It feels very soft and luxe! Looks exactly as pictured.
Negatives: No negatives for me on this one- it's a winner in my book!
Look #8: PEARLY HEART PATCH SOFT FUZZY KNIT SWEATER IN BLUE
Ok...how absolutely darling is this sweater. So so cute for Valentine's Day with the pearl heart detailing. I love how well this pairs with some jeans and sneakers for a classy casual look. The texture is so fuzzy and soft.
Positives: Amazing quality for the price - only $39.90. I love that it also comes in other color options as well. The pearl details are nicely stitched and high quality.
Negatives: Runs small. I am wearing a S/M and wish I would have sized up!
