Hey everyone! Today I'm coming at ya with another home decor blog! A lot of you have liked my holiday themed decor blogs and I've had many requests to show the details of other decor around my home. So today I'm sharing my bedroom, which I've decorated super boho/farmhouse chic! I've mentioned before that home decor and decorating is a huge hobby of mine, so I'm really excited to give you more details of rooms in my home. I've linked most of these products in the photos below, just click on the image to shop or get inspo!

When I began decorating my room I had a vision in mind of muted colors such as soft pinks, greens, blues and creams. I wanted something to go with my furniture, which is an antiqued farmhouse style, so I though this color palette would go well. Most of my bedding pieces are from Target's Opalhouse Collection. I am totally obsessed with this line as they have many boho chic pieces that matched perfectly with my vision. I wanted to incorporate a lot of girly details as well, which is why I picked some fun fur and sequin pillows to throw on my bed. In addition to having girly aspects, I also wanted to incorporate one of my biggest passions...geology! I'm a geologist by trade, so I wanted to have a way to display some of my favorite gems and crystals I've collected over the years. I found the perfect display case you see in the photo above and I've since filled it full with my favorite pieces.

One of my favorite parts of my room is my guitar I've hung on the wall. Many of you might not know that music is a huge passion of mine. I love to sing and play guitar, which is an ultimate stress relief for me. If you also have a hobby, I would definitely recommend incorporating it into your decor. It's a fun way of keeping your passions relevant and around you. Another favorite section of my room is this tapestry/window decor above. I found this old window at a garage sale for 5 bucks and knew it would be the perfect piece for this room. I made the tapestry hanging over top of it and I have linked some very similar styles to this one!

One my main inspos for choosing this decor styles was the cowhead picture you see in the photo above. I spotted this picture in Hobby Lobby and loved the color pallette and florals. I started matching pieces to it and the rest of the room came together from there. I have found a very similar picture to this that I've linked if you click on the photo! You can also see that I've incorporated a lot of wood and cactus pieces throughout my room. I feel like this definitely adds to the boho chic vibe! Lastly, one of my favorite pieces in my room is my hanging edison light over my night stand that I picked up on Amazon! I have this paired with my Alexa to turn on and off and I love the dim light it adds to my room off the reflection of the mirror behind it.

I hope you all have enjoyed this blog as much as I did writing it. If you're looking to do this similar decorating style, definitely steer towards muted colors, wood, crystals, cactus/florals, and tribal prints. All of these will work towards this style. I'm always looking for new pieces to add as well and love getting inspo from you! If you have any recommendations for boho decor, please share in the comments below.
