Hey Y'all! It's my favorite time of year again...FALL! If you haven't noticed by now, I take full advantage of every holiday and season as a chance to spice up my home with from fun themed decor. Today I'm so excited to share with you guys my Halloween decor that is full of tricks, treats, boos, and scares! All of my pieces were super affordable and I've linked a lot of items in the photos. Just click each picture to find out more!
The focal point of my decor always starts with my fireplace and mantle. Here is where I tend to go all out and showcase the theme I'm working with. A major tip is to start out with a banner or garland and build upon that. Here I've chosen a cute "Hocus Pocus" banner that I picked up in the Target dollar spot. I also layered it with some tassel garland to give it more dimension.
I have shelf above in my kitchen, where is where I like to store most of my Rae Dunn collection. This is one of my favorite pieces to decorate because it can really transform. I always choose larger statement pieces to mix in between my pottery because it always pops with the contrast of colors. I linked a lot fun similar pieces that I found on Amazon that are perfect for the "haunted" season!
I also always decorate my 3 tier stand I scored from Hobby Lobby. This is one of my favorite pieces that sits on my counter. I'm always on the hunt for small trinkets to place in the tiers for each holiday. The pom pom garland you see here is homemade, which takes less than 10 minutes! All you need is some string, pom poms, and hot glue. Just glue each pom to the string and you're good to go! I always finish my 3 tier stand off with a hand towel, this one I found at TJ Maxx.
Last, but not least is my front door! I always have a wreath on it no matter the occasion. I found this cute little sign from the Target dollar spot for under $5. The back says "Trick or Treat," so that it can be flipped. I picked up this vine wreath for under $10 at Hobby Lobby and wrapped some festive ribbon around it. Wreaths can be expensive, so this is a super affordable way to decorate.
I hope you all enjoyed my spooky decor! I love Halloween so much because it always brings out the kid in me. Is there ever really a age where you can't celebrate it anymore? I think not!
