Make lemonadeā¦or add it to your favorite cocktail š Hey everyone! Since Easter is over and we are slowly moving into the summer phase of decor, I just wanted to share with you one of my favorite new home decorating trendsā¦LEMONS! I just recently swapped out all my Easter decor and added this adorable lemon and black/white gingham theme around my home. Itās a super fun way to brighten up your aesthetic, just in time for summer!
I have three main areas in my house that I swap out for decor for different seasons and holidays. My kitchen, living room and dining area. I also normally add a wreath to my front door that goes with each theme I choose. Home decor is a huge passion and hobby of mine. I love building pieces and seeing a vision in my head come together. However, since I have a lot of different seasons and occasions I like to decorate for, I am always on a budget to get the lowest prices on my pieces.
Most of my pieces you see here are from Amazon, Walmart, TJ Maxx and Target Dollar spot. If you click each picture you will be able to shop some of this cute lemon decor. Another way I work to stay under budget is to reuse different vases and greener. Just add the colors and decor to them to fit my season of the time. Ribbon is also a cheap and easy way to spice up your decor. I purchased some black/white gingham and large yellow burlap ribbon and tied it onto some pieces.
Another way to cut costs is to reuse your wreaths for the seasons. Wreaths can be very expensive. I purchased a plain green wreath from Hobby Lobby and just add floral stems to it for each decorating style. I also normally add some of the ribbon to it and a sign if I have it.
Lastly, a great tip I also suggest is look for coupons, shop the sales and check out the Target Dollar Spot! They normally always have fun seasonal themed decor at prices ranging from $1-$5. Hobby Lobby also runs things 50% off from time to time and always has a 40% off coupon of one item on their website.
I hope yāall liked my lemon trendā¦Iām currently obsessing over it and love the pop of color and flare it gives to my home!
